### 📌 Project Summary **🚉 Platform:** Mobile App (Android) **👥 Role**: UX Designer **🕒 Duration**: 2 weeks **📱 Tools**: Figma, Snazzy Maps, Miro **🤝 Team**: Solo Designer, worked with Client and Dev Team ## 📌 Project Overview An app that lets users compare prices across Ola, Uber, Rapido, and others without switching between apps. --- ## 🎯 The Problem City commuters often: * Open multiple apps just to compare prices * Enter the same locations again and again * Get stuck in login loops. * Higher booking time (52s to 5min) --- ## ✅ Goals * Allow quick comparison across cab providers * Reduce repetitive user inputs --- ## 🔍 User Research Though we have a very less time for intensive research, I collected 12 active commuters (ages 22–34) who regularly used Ola, Uber, and Rapido. 👥 Participants * Total: 12 users * Location: Bengaluru * Method: Survey form [See questions →](https://kingmayankkaushal.typeform.com/to/GwyfkHQ8) ## 🔍 What I Found

## 🛠 What I Designed ### 🔐 One-Step Login * Simple OTP-based login * Quick start with zero distractions ### 📍 Smart Location Setup * Search or pin-drop for destination * One-tap confirmation ### 📊 Easy Fare Comparison * Options to see fare for Bike, Auto, Car, SUV without login * All providers fare at one place (some requires login) * Clear fare + ETA per provider ### 🔗 Smooth App Switching * Deep links to Uber, Ola, Rapido * Auto-filled pickup/drop * Seamless return to Cab Compare ## 📈 User Feedback Highlights (based on play store reviews) * 👍 Comparing prices and booking just got so much easier * ⏱️ Booking time drastically dropped * 💸 Users savings increased per ride --- ## 🔄 What Could Be Improved - **More vertical space** for cab listing - **Bottom Sheet WebView** for native feel of app --- ## 🧑‍🏫 Project Learnings - Discovered Tools like Snazzy Maps which helps keep the UI similar to our brand colors. - I discovered how deep linking works, instead of just opening the Uber app, it can drop you right into the booking screen with all the ride details (like pickup and drop-off) already filled in. --- ### App has been closed recently! **Reason -** Cab providers are not giving permissions to compare the cab prices. 😪
